Hi all, hope this forum may be of help!
Nearly every time I'm going to watch a movie or listen to music on my Samsung TV (NU8000) and browse through my library using the built-in DLNA browser, JRiver tends to crash once. So while browsing to for example the movies folder, the TV suddenly freezes as it loses connection to the server. Then JRiver just quits without an error message on my computer. Simply firing JRiver back up fixes the issue temporarily. It seems to happen only once at the beginning of a DLNA 'session'.
I've disabled all DLNA transcoding as every file in my library is natively compatible with my TV. Under the Advanced tab of the DLNA Server setup I've checked: DLNA, Present Caption Resources, Present Subtitle Resources. I'm not using any mimetype override.
Anyone got a solution? It seems to me that the TV's indexing of the DLNA folder tree somehow causes a crash in JRiver or something? I've been a JRiver user since version 25 and have always had this issue.
