no sound
« on: February 15, 2023, 03:12:10 pm »

I did a clean install of Windows 11 64 bit. I am using MC 30 64 bit. Prior to the clean install MC 30 worked. I reinstalled MC 30 everything works except I don't have any sound . I get this message "Something went wrong.

Playback could not be started on the output "WASAPI" using format using '40kHz 6ch'. This format may not be supported by your hardware. You can use DSP studio to change the output to a compatible format.

Also make sure your system has a valid sound playback device and that it is properly configured in playback options."

i tried all the options. When I play media player from the PC I get sound. the computer is hooked up to a AVR.

What am I doing wrong? I have been using different versions of MC for years, never had this problem.

Did you try that?   DSP Studio > Output Settings.
