Several times this version has hung when changing TS video files, needing the program to be killed with windows task manager before starting it again. Once restarted it plays fine until next time it crashes. Is it easier to move to V31 and report the problem there is it still exists?

Is Windows Defender configured?  It may be preventing access to the file.

Interesting, I’ll tell it to ignore the tv recording folders.

Wow, this JRiver media center rocks compared to the cross platform Strawberry application I was using on my Debian clunker. I am piping audio from my Windows laptop through a Douk Audio U2 Pro DAC into a vintage AWIA AV-D57 via TOS link. I am very impressed with JRiver's tweaking ability. The only ouchy with the AV-D57, which I've had since the mid 90's, the optical link is only 16bits at 48Khz so 24 bit content at 96Khz or higher has to be converted to play within those parameters. I don't know if JRiver can do that on the fly, I hope, but I have been doing that manually for years now with FLAC files through EZ CD audio converter.

I primarily use MusePack as a lossy compressed format as I am short on drive space but had to switch to FLAC as the MusePack replaygain headers seem not to be working in JRiver 30.0.93.  I am fine with the FLAC format but it consumes more than half my drive space on old Lenny.  I use EZ CD Audio Converter for all my audio transformation gymnastics like lossless to lossy. Yes, I know there are other lossy formats that are called superior but there a specific reasons why I use MusePack. Just because it is dated doesn't mean it is inferior. So I would be interested if anyone uses MusePack and has issues with replaygain, to follow up with this post.

Thank you for your attentiveness and hope to make some new friends here on the forum here.

Thanks.  See DSP Studio > Output Settings to convert on the fly.  [wiki]

After upgrading to this version, Cloudplay is a blank screen with only the 'Cloudplay" header and the home icon which does nothing.  Windows 10.

It's possible this is the cause:  https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,135880.0.html
