Burning MP3 or Data CD
« on: February 24, 2003, 03:03:35 pm »

When I burn a data cd with mp3 files on it, my Alpine CHA-s634 does not play back the files in the order they were burned. I called them they said the setting for burning a data cd should be ISO level 1. I don't see any options for burning data. What is the default setting?

Has to do with the way things are in the burn options of MC. 'Rearrange Folders' in some way is what is causing your files to be played back in a different order then what you had sent to the burner originally. May want to check this first.

Does it play all #1 tracks, then #2 tracks and so on? If so, then I think if I read the fixed things of the latest build correctly, it will not do this anymore. May want to try that build and see if it still is giving you problems.

I'd check the other first and see if you can arrange the files in a way that would be acceptable. 'None' is what usually gives me headaches with MC. That is when I get all the tracks in numerical order (mentioned above).
