I've been having an issue with playing back DTS-HD Master movies with JRiver since JR 25. I've tolerated it because I can restart my computer and then playback will work. I think I finally have s clue as to where the problem is, but am not sure where to go from here. When the problem in JRiver ocurrs, I get the error

Playback could not be started on the selected audio output.
The audio format may not be supported by your hardware. You can use DSP Studio to change the output to0 a compatible format.
Also make sure that your system has a valid sound playback device and that it is properly configured in playback options.
As I have discovered, the problem appears to be related to the NVIDIA High Definition Audio Driver. When the problem playing DTS-HD Master content appears, the marantz-AVR device under the Windows sound properties, Supported Formats only displays:
Dolby Digital Plus
Dolby TrueHD
Dolby Digital
When it all works after a reboot, the same Supported Formats dialog also displays:
DTS Audio
DTS-HD

The optimal solution is to never have those DTS formats disapear from the driver, but my guess is that there is nothing that I can do to prevent that.
I wonder if someone knows a way that I can somehow reset that driver from the command line using automation to reread the supported formats.Media Pathway:
