In case you hadn't noticed, it's a little quieter here than usual this weekend. Tuesday is our Independence Day, in celebration of July 4, 1776, when The Colonies declared our independence from those pesky Brits. It took a while for them to forgive us. We're now just two counties separated by a common language.
Matt went home to Waseca to spend the holiday with his dad. Bob's going to the Winnipeg Folk Festival. I plan to take a nap. Not sure of the others' plans.
But it will be hot here on Tuesday. 94 degrees Fahrenheit (34 Celsius). Hot dogs, potato salad, deviled eggs, ice cream.
So if you need answers before Wednesday, please check the wiki or ask Google.
Happy 4th of July!
