Paypal Not Working
« on: April 22, 2023, 12:09:24 am »

If you've tried to purchase since Friday evening, Paypal won't have worked.  We suspended use of it.

Please try again on Tuesday.  Paypal suddenly put a limit on the cash we can withdraw.  We're doing so much business right now that they suspected we could be scamming them.  It will probably be reversed in a few days.  I'm sorry for the problem.

We will honor the current price when Paypal resumes normal business.

PayPal shows it paid you but the Transaction ID doesn't work on your site.

You don't need to use the Transaction ID.

If you purchased, you received a license.  Maybe in the spam folder.   Install the matching version.  Then restore the license.  More details are here:  https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Restoring_a_License

I just purchased an update to MC31 for Windows, and paid by PayPal.  I got an email from PayPal with a transaction ID saying the payment was successful.  After 30 minutes, I still have not received an email from JRiver with my MC31 license number.  On the JRiver purchase website, I got an error saying, "The PayPal website appears to be down, so we cannot verify your transaction."  When I go to the JRiver PayPal Support page, and enter my PayPal transaction ID and email address, I get the same error: "The PayPal website appears to be down, so we cannot verify your transaction".  I tried two different web browsers and got the same error.

Thanks,
John

puffpastry,
I've just sent you a Windows license.  You can ignore the first email.

Thanks for your purchase.
