Copying files from Docker to Portable drive.
« on: November 22, 2023, 06:39:59 pm »

Looking to take my files on the road. Literally in an RV, so I want to move my files onto a portable drive that connects via USB to my laptop.

I am looking to see if there is an easier way than importing my Library from docker into MC on my Laptop and then using the copy function to copy music files from NAS over to Porta drive?

Second question is whether the audio analysis carries over from shiomax to the  laptop library?

You can treat any drive as a handheld and sync to it.  The wiki has more.

Thanks Jim,

I was hoping to be able to complete this in one action, but syncing the portable on my laptop certainly works better than copying it all. Unfortunately, Docker does not show any devices that I plug into the USB port on my NAS. Though the laptop will analyze audio much quicker.
