Changing the Direct Xfilter used for DVD
« on: February 14, 2003, 07:21:55 am »

How do I do this?? I have GraphEdit but dont see any option to change which filter Windows defaults to.  At the moment my DVD playback in MC is totally unusable.  Phat Phreddy said this was cos MC was using the default DVD filter so how do I change that?  I would really like to use MC to watch DVD but at the moment I simply cannot...

Well I am not using MC but I do know that directshow filters come with 'load priorities' in thier registry settings... I have been using ZP excusively for this and loading different filters is pretty easy in ZP...

I will see what I can find out but dont expect it today (the 6 nations Rugby starts and I am hurrying to sort things i need to do so that I can get to the bar for kickoff)...

Drop me a mail ir ICQ and I hope to crack this... What DVD SW do you have installed ?
