How did the search and replace of the driver file turn out?
Admin in atlanta, ga locked me out (security) and what i did see was dated 1999. I think i will take what i could find "USB*.*" and put it on a disk and try it.
I did get this message from Diva support, i guess it is supported by Daisy Technology, LLC
Hello Mark,
Please, check this:
In [Device manager] ->USB controllers ->USB root hub
->power management unselect the option that allows windows
automatically to turn off the device. If you have more than
one root hub you have to unselect the above mentioned option
for that hub on which you will connect the device (PhotoClip)
Regards,
Nick

It did not help.
i did send them back a e-mail and i asked for anything else.
if i don't get anything i think my next move will be to format, re-install windows XP
then try it out again just for the fun of it.
if all else fails then i will buy a rio or somthing, the one i looked at today took 256 meg mem cards. not sure if that will help but i guess the next step after that is a 16lb hammer
