Hi everyone, I'd like to know what your experience is with using huge databases.
right now in jriver I have uploaded 442903 music tracks in flac and I still have to slowly tag about seventy-five thousand albums.

Right now i have no problem with version 23, i also have version 31 in Mac book air with Mac osx 10.13 8gb RAM, but in this Moment i am using only version 23.

I've seen 20 million tracks mentioned somewhere. The database is loaded into memory, so it's better with 16 or 32 GB RAM.

You have a license for MC32.  You could download and try it.  It should behave at least as well with your library.

I read that in MC32 there Is a new feature

A new feature of Media Center 32 is that the most recent library from a previous major version will automatically be loaded and restored into Media Center 32 the first time it is run.

I ask if there Is the option of not tò do this (the most recent library Is not automatically loaded and restored the First time It Is run)

I'd say scale wise, it's a large library but nothing troublesome for JRiver.
Like one of the linked threads mentioned, when I used JRiver for music maybe 6+ years back, I was sitting at maybe 2 million track entities and performance wasn't a huge concern.

Was going to a pane view and scrolling from 0 to the end possible? Was searching possible?

Placing the mouse in the right place before starting to scroll in "panes view" makes scrolling through a library; regardless of the number of albums/tracks; smoother/easier.

For the benefit of anybody wondering where "the right place is" it's hovering the mouse over the scrollbar where there is zero risk of triggering an "on hover event" something that is bound to happen if the mouse is anywhere else in the window when scrolling.

Not sure what you mean by this. My question is, was navigating / viewing 20 million track entities doable in a single view?
