I updated my template version number to 21.12 after saving (exporting) the XML file. I then reimported that file and after the last update my template did not get overwritten. I have begun to do this process every time I edit my template to insure it stays after the next update.

Is it possible to show cover art to the left of multiple rows of information so that the 'header' and 'description' are wrapped to the right of the cover art?

Also after upgrading to MC32, I noticed the little checkmark for watched movies (next to the name in a list of movies) reappeared. Is there a way to remove it?

Thanks!

Can you explain this layout more?

Yes.  Go to Tools > Options > Theater View > Customize file info panel...  Select Movie in the Templates dropdown.  Click Manage > Edit template...  In the Caption, Regular text box remove everything after [Name].

Thank you for the info about editing the template. I forgot about that since you can 'edit' it right from the main pop-up box.

In regard to the cover art, I've attached a modified version of the new theater view movie template. I like to have all the text at the bottom of the screen so that I can view the background images better. But I'd still like there to be a small cover in the bottom left corner with the header and description information to the right of it. The cover art would be no larger than the top of the header to the bottom of the screen. Is that possible?

Also it would be nice if it was easier to dynamically display the content at the bottom of the screen rather than having to add a bunch of blank elements at the top that you have to scroll through. If you could dynamically adjust the header and description to stick the last line of text to the bottom of the screen, hat would be really nice. So that if you say had 4 vs 5 lines of text, they would both be justified to the bottom. Then you could have a setting for additional 'off screen' fields like the cast allowing you to further scroll down when you want to view that off screen content, but not clutter up the screen normally..

When I try to import your template I get the message: Clipboard does not contain a valid template
