MC9 and Media Editor question
« on: February 07, 2003, 09:52:34 am »

Just a quick question from MC9b105.  I have more than a few tracks that don't have tag information on them.  Once they're digitized, I use the media editor to change the properties.  It appears towork, but the changes never get written back to the track -- it only appaers the library is being updated.  How do I rewrite the track with the new tag info so I don't have to do this again?

Select the files you want to change in Media Center, press Alt-Enter and change the properties.  As soon as you move anywhere else in the library, the changes are written.

To the library or the files also?  I.e., when I copy that file later  to another machine, the new tags will come along with it?  What ever is going on doesn't actually change the file
