Media Editor file dialog
« on: January 08, 2003, 10:33:13 am »

I've been using the Media Editor to chop up album sides into tracks after capturing them. When I Open or Save As, it always goes to the Temp folder and I can't seem to find where to change this. It would be nice if it went to last folder or had a file location setting under Options.

I have a lot more vinyl to process, so that would save lots of clicks...or maybe I just missed it?

THanks.

It's been a while since I used it, but I think there are two ways to save (two icons?) and that one will just save over the file you've opened.

it would be nice to have a trim button, and a way to set the trim time.

[Trim From Front] - [Trim From Rear]

and each time you press it

it will trim x.xx seconds from the file to remove clicks.

if it is possable a way to detect a click at the begining and ends of a media file your editing. so it could be done Auto.

Maybe it is me but i have always had problems marking the clicks and cuting them from the sound file with media editor (Not that i do it every day).
