Please help.  I have Media Center 14 installed on my new machine but when I open it, it tells me the trial period has expired.  I try to restore it with the mjr file I have from 2013, but it tells me something is wrong with the file.  So, I click on the "restore via internet" option.  It tells me that it can email me a new install file/key/whatever but no email ever comes.  I have done this several times with no results.  Been trying since April to get this software up and running so that I can access all my music files that I have carefully compiled for over a decade.  I'm sure the email address is correct since I have been using it for over 20 years.

I have searched the forum and cannot find any post that helps me solve this issue.  There are no phone numbers to call to talk to actual people.

Very frustrated.  I have a lot going on with sick family members and I need my music to work so I can use it to destress.

Thanks.

.mjr install key files only last 14 days after creation, one from 2013 won't work. You need to restore your license.

So what do I do?  Can you use my name to look up the license?  It appears that I bought it in January of 2013, since that is the date on the mjr file.

Any help you could give me would be appreciated.  Not really interested in upgrading as that would involve more difficulties with getting the old library to work, etc.  At least, that's what I'm reading while trying to solve my issue.

thanks

The only other email I can think of that might have been used is rookerbiology@gmail.com.  But that is a business email and not sure why I would have used that.

Can I pay for another license for Media Center 14?  I just need this program to work.  I don't have the time or energy to find a different program.

If I fired up my old machine, could I find the registration code somewhere in the Media Center program that's installed there?

It's an MC12 license.  I changed the hotmail address to your forum address and re-sent your license.

See old versions on the wiki for the download.

Thank you so much!!!  I just got back from out of town and was able to install version 12 with the information you sent.

I am still having problems importing my old playlists though.  They are m3u files and when I import them, the playlist name comes through but there are no songs associated with it.  Any ideas?

Thank you so much for your help.  I am so happy to have access to my music again!  :)
