Use Handheld Sync to load a phone. It's documented on the wiki.
If you choose conversion, it happens automatically.
Thanks Jim.
Yes, I've been using these feature for years. I cannot sync directly to the phone, as the phone app that I use for music doesn't mount as a drive. I have to sync to a folder on the local hard drive, then I can sync the phone app's music library to this folder. I know about conversion as I'm converting to ALAC with an external converter.
The issue is I'm retiring the drive the folder sits on and I want to the move the folder to another drive, but I would prefer not to have to re-enter all the settings for the JRiver "Handheld Device" folder. Is there a way to change the path to the device folder in JRiver? Or do I have to copy the folder in Windows Explorer then create a new handheld device in JRiver, point it to the copied folder, then manually reenter all settings? Not horrible, but I would prefer a way to change the path in JRiver.
