JRiver Manual/WIKI
« on: September 27, 2024, 05:02:15 pm »

I have seen some small WIKI sites but have not seen a complete Manual/WIKI anywhere.

Is there such a thing that gives you ALL of the guidance you would ever want or need to make you an expert using, customizing and working with Media Center.  I imagine it will be very large?  If one exists can you provide the link/s?

Thank you very much

Either click on the Getting Started link at the bottom of the site/forums or click on the Wiki link at the bottom of the site/forums. From there browse and search for what you're looking for.

Thank you very much.  I have been looking at that.

Are there any videos?  I've seen some on YouTube but those are just basic installation and setup.

From what I understand media center is tremendously customizable.  That is what I am looking for. Beyond the basic's.  Understanding and learning from that point.  Hopefully as I read more.

Thanks again.

Google is pretty good at putting you in the right place.  Google JRiver Wiki, for example.

Or just ask Google the question.  You'll get links to the wiki and forum and Youtube and other sites.

The Support link on the home page has a link to the wiki.

Use the search there.

Also, ChatGPT knows a surprising amount about Media Center.

I have been using DuckDuckGo for years and was unaware of that.  Excellent - thank you for sharing!  Returning results from JRiver only is very nice indeed - no more wading through unrelated muck.

I wonder if JRiver used DuckDuckGo everywhere they currently use Google that it might mitigate some of the issues encountered with VPNs.  It would certainly enhance user privacy.

Google has the same functionality.

I guess that's not surprising, being Google and all.
