Bad news I'm afraid - The Bouncing MC Log only is back with Sequoia 15.0.1 , I had to force quit MC when nothing had changed after 5 minutes, nothing I tried including rebooting the Mac Mini resulted in MC33.0.0 opening.

Nothing in this build should have changed in respect to startup.
Is logging enabled?
If not, it can be added by hand in place of turning it on in MC.

Bob - After putting the Mac_Mini into Restore Mode and forcing it to reinstall Sequoia, removing MC33.0.36, restarting the mac-mini and re-installing MC33.0.33 I finally got MC33 to open normally.
To me it looks like the Ios version of Sequoia may not be the the only Sequoia version that can do a very good impersonation of a Brick Making Factory.

The Fontize problem on the Mac has definitely been fixed but there are still at  least 4 problems with Playing Now Popups on the Mac:-
1. The Global keyboard section on the Popup Settings Window/Page has Ctrl+I and not Cmd+I on it.
2. If a Playing Now Popup is showing on the screen the Main MC Window Minimise Button behaves normally but to bring the Main Window back up (i.e. Maximise it) clicking on the MC Icon in the Dock doesn't work. To get the main MC Window back up the user has to Right-Click on the MC Icon, select the Show All Windows option to bring up the desktop and then click on the very small main MC Window, which probably will be just above the Dock to bring the Main MC Window back up at the size it was before it was minimised.
3. Unlike with MC on the Win Platform, MC on the Mac is doing something very different when it encounters an instruction that uses this combination Height="26" fontsize="13"
on the Win PC if the data to be presented on the screen is longer that the lines width value it will "wordwrap" the data onto 2 lines before overflowing
but on the Mac it only ever displays 1 line as this Image is reveals (the top one is Marko's "Play" Popup on my Win11-PC the lower one is it on the Mac-Mini)

4. A 9 year-old girl ended up crying when she discovered that the 3 Playing Now Popups she and I spent 2 weeks developing may never see the light of day.
Because we discovered yet another Minimise/Maximise problem.
If you use the Minimise Button on a Playing Now Popup it works correctly, but if you then use it's Maximise Button it will bring up an odd looking MC window that you have to right click-on to change to a Different View and then click on that windows Maximise Button which may result in MC redisplaying the Playing Now Window and if you are really lucky the Dock will not have vanished from the screen.

This is one of the 3 Popups we worked on:-

And as you can see we managed to convert the MC Ultra TI JavaScript routine that uses a Tracks Genre to switch between "Classical" and "Non-Classical" Display Modes into a set of Complex Expression Language Instructions to do a similar "Trick" in a Playing Now Popup in both the "Text" and "Tooltip" instructions including the tooltips for the CoverArt and buttons.

Bob Unfortunately I've got some more bad news.

While testing the latest versions of the Playing Now Popup Skins we have developed we encountered a problem that could be down to the changes made to handle Playing Now Popups or Sequoia dropping into "Stupid Mode"

When switching from Standard View to Theatre View with a TI + a Playing Now Popup Open, a TI + a Playing Now Popup closed, a TI + a Playing Now Popup Disabled then repeating them with CoverArt + Lyrics displayed instead of the TI, an then with only CoverAr displayed; the Theatre View window was continually  flashing. P.S When the TI was present it was the only thing in the widow that did not flash,  Plus I was restarting MC after each test.

Despite the Playing Now Popup being set to Always on Top switching to Mini-View when using a TI resulted in part of the Playing Now Popup Window being behind the TI window.

1. The Global keyboard section on the Popup Settings Window/Page has Ctrl+I and not Cmd+I on it.

I'm pretty sure there are only global shortcuts in Windows so I will just hide this.

You have to give the item more height to account for line spacing and it will wrap.  ~45 works for me.  It also looks like a bigger font on the Mac.

You have to give the item more height to account for line spacing and it will wrap.  ~45 works for me.  It also looks like a bigger font on the Mac.

But that does not explain why when Marko's "Play" Popup uses a Height="26" FontFace="Segoe UI" fontsize="13" or Height="33" FontFace="Segoe UI" FontSize="15" set of instructions then if the field metadata/content does not exceed the line width only 1 line appears on the screen; but if it does exceed the width 2 lines will appear on the Windows Platform but the Mac only ever displays 1 line.

I will accept that the version of the Segeo UI Font on the Mac may be different to the one on the Windows Platform. Segeo UI is the font MS uses and the MS Modified Version and not the one that is available for installation on other platforms. One difference I noticed when I switched MC to the Segeo UI Font on both the Win and Mac PC's was that on the Win PC Numbers were the same height as Capital Letters but on the Mac they were slightly shorter and every character appeared to be slightly lighter in weight.

All my Popups use Height="15" FontFace="Verdana" FontSize="14" for ll Text Lines including the ones that use FontStyle="Bold" so I modified the Playing Now Track List for the Mac to contain the same 3 Tracks that were the Previous, Current and Next tracks in the one that was playing on the Win PC and the Attached Image reveals that the "Bigger Font on the Mac" could be down to a Difference between how Windows and the AppleOS handles fonts or that Popup Skin Fontsize Instructions are still not being handled correctly on the Mac.
Both the Mac & Windows PC's are using Samsung C27F390 screens with 1920x1080 resolution, the only difference between them is the Mac is using a 24" screen while the one the Win PC is using is 27".
But the "Text" on the Mac is very obviously larger on the Image from the Mac than it is on the Win despite the fact that they are Both allegedly using the same font and fontsize.

I did just find an issue when using 100% scaling for the popup itself with Retina mode on the Mac.  Is this what you are using?

On both platforms the Popups Size is set to Same as View size setting, which is 100% and Yes Retina Mode has to be switched on because if it is off the List Panel in playing now ends up Double Spaced; and that's not the only part of MC that looks very wrong.

Please try the next Mac build.  It should be pretty close between the platforms but if not, we can consider adding a special "FontSizeMac" or something similar.

This version does not even open a window for me. Just bounces and sometimes shows spinning beach ball until it is force quit.  I am trying to run it on a MACBOOK PRO M1, running MAC OS 15.1.
