OT: Hey Skinners :)

Hey :)
Cant remember who it was but one of you guys ported over the Windows XP WMP skin to MJ and did a GREAT job of it.
I use it and LOVE it.

I was wondering, if you guys get bored and have some free time to kill - how about porting over a few more of the WMP skins to MJ?

A few of them are REALLY nice and some of the others are not too bad either.

It'd also be a great way to steal people from WMP to MJ as it'd feel familiar to them straight away.

The skins I like the best which I hope you'll port are:
  • Quicksilver
  • Windows Classic
  • Corporate
  • Atomic
  • 9SeriesDefault

    These are all from WMP9.

MJ would look GREAT skinned in these :)

I'm the one that ported over the Windows XP skin from WMP (as well as the Goo and ipod skins). And I absolutely refuse to port over any skin without the permission of the author first. I do make exceptions for those skins provided directly from Microsoft, though. It's just a respect thing, I guess. ;)

Maybe once my life slows down a bit, I'll take a look at porting over some of the stock WMP skins you mentioned. No promises, though. My participation on this board has been waning a bit as of late.

Trust me, it has nothing to do with women.

Mostly it's just diving taking a bigger role in my life right now. Although I have been rather reluctant to find all those bugs like I used to. I just trust that you have my list and keep looking at it. I have faith that you'll get them all. :)

Matt sleeps with one hand on your list and the other on his bear.

Does the music box in his bear still work? Mine broke a long time ago, so now I have to manually turn the crank to make it play. I've found that it's actually more effective at putting me to sleep that way. :)

You did a great job on porting it Doof.

I hope you get around to the others because that one you've ported is just soooo sweet in that it's incredibly clear and straightfowards.
The main buttons and functions are all easy to spot and use which is at the end of the day the definition of perfection for a GUI :)
