I still have the same exact problem, using an ExaSound e68 DAC, that was originally raised as follows in the MC24 board...
"5.0 channel mapping incorrect

I have an exaSound e38. Channel mapping is incorrect while playing 5.0 DSD. The output is one channel off starting at output 4.
It should be mapping: 1-LF, 2-RF, 3-C, (4-SW <silent>) 5-LS, 6-RS
It’s actually mapping: 1-LF, 2-RF, 3-C, 4-(LS), 5-(RS), 6-<silent>.
I checked cabling and channel assignments in the audio MIDI setup and my setup is correct."
https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,115609.0.htmlWith my library having a mix of DSD and PCM multichannel files, setting it up for one results in the other being unplayable with the correct channel outputs. Channel mixing isn't functional for DSD files even after conversion to PCM for playback, and having separate zones via zoneswitch for each works, sort-of (with the wrong channel allocations setup for DSD playback from the DAC, and remapping channels for the PCM multichannel zone to match the incorrect DSD channel assignments), but it's a nuisance that this has never been fixed, and one which took me ages to figure out what was going on.
Will this ever be resolved, please?
