I suspect searching with a browser is soon to become a thing of the past. I've been playing around with the DeepSeek app on iOS and the first thing that came to mind is that browser searches, unless very specialized are generally going to be obsolete.

Oh yeah and hopefully that's a big L for Larry Ellison (Oracle and owner of the Hawaiian island of Lanai).

I'm surprised desktop Linux market share is as high as it is (between 4 and 10 percent depending on how you count Chromebooks and "Unknown").  In the Steam surveys it's been hovering around 2 or 3% for years, but I guess gaming is a more specialized use case (and one that was much harder on Linux until fairly recently).

Yup, same as facebook, google, X pretty much everything.
Anyone who uses gmail has had their mail scanned forever.
