Hello! Although running the linux version, I noted in the Linux forum that feature requests are all compiled through the Windows forum, so here goes...
After numerous searches through the forums, it appears that at one time it was possible to route a USB video source through media center, at least in a Windows version. Now, however, it appears that this is no longer possible on OS any version of MC (currrently running MC33). Is this true?
If so, is that a functionality that can be added/restored to versions in all supported OS? My motivation is using MC DSP for bass management in a 5.3 configuration. Having MC detect the source channels and upsample to 7.1 using JRSS, I get fantastic results over writing the 2 rear channels re-purposed as added subwoofers. I'd like to use this for all my sources, specifically AMazon Firestick through Elgato HDMI-USB adapter.
