Author Topic: Volume Leveling Not Working Automatically in JRemote When Playing via Bluetooth  (Read 495 times)

I've enabled the volume leveling function in JRemote 3.43 on my iPad, which is playing music via Bluetooth to my car sound system. I shuffled a Smart Playlist with about 1,000 songs, but when JRemote plays the tracks, the volume leveling doesn't work. To make it work, I have to manually jump to the previous track and then back to the track I want leveled. I have to repeat this process every time I want volume leveling to function correctly. How can I fix this so volume leveling works automatically during playback?

Are you using CarPlay?

Try a shorter list.  Make sure the files have been analyzed on the server.  Volume Leveling requires it.  See the Wiki.

The smartlist I'm using is 500 songs--Is that too long?

I'm not using CarPlay.

All files have been analyzed on the server.

Hey Jim,

I'm finding that "Level volume with replay gain" isn't working with Bluetooth at all.
