Help Requested MC 32 Won't Load Correctly

<< < (2/3) > >>

Awesome Donkey:
Open a Command Prompt/PowerShell/Terminal window and type in ipconfig /flushdns to clear the system's DNS cache. Might also be worth changing your system DNS to another like Google DNS or Cloudflare DNS if you're using your ISP's DNS resolver and it's slow at updating.

LennyM:
First, as I wrote this happens identically on two different computers.  Nevertheless I tried your suggestion on one of them with absolutely no change in the loading of MC 32 or reaching jriver.com.

Does anyone know why 2 computers, acting independently except that they are on the same network, cannot reach jriver.com??  Or indeed why not being able to load JRiver.com renders MC 32 inoperative?

@JimH wrote that "It will clear up shortly." suggesting a problem with JRiver.com rather than anying in my system.

At the moment I have a lovely music system that I cannot use.

JimH:
Gizmo works for me now.

LennyM:
@JimH,

I have no idea what the relevance is of your last post re: Gizmo.  Evidently meant for someone else.

Meanwhile, when I try to reach jriver.com Firefox tells me:
"The server at jriver.com is taking too long to respond.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments."

Computers and internet working perfectly in every other way.

Can anyone please tell me what's going on?  Why can I reach every other site in the world, but not jriver.com?  And why does that prevent MC 32 from loading correctly?

JimH:
Sorry.  Same problem, different thread.
