Libraries automatically get redetected after deletion.
« on: April 07, 2025, 09:02:36 am »

I have several devices on my network that apparently are acting as and being detected by MC as libraries.  In particular I have several pieces of electronic gear including disc players, other computers, A/V processors, SONOS Connects and Bose SoundTouch systems that get immediately redetected and added as libraries right after I delete them.  I don't want to simply hide these libraries; I want MC to stop looking for them.

Is there any way to stop MC from automatically adding and detecting specific libraries associated with specific IP addresses, etc.?

Thank you!

You could possibly configure the devices so that they don't advertise themselves.

I will see if I can do that.  If not I will simply hide them per current program functionality.

You can right-click and select Hide.
