It's no different from other formats.
How is the device connected? USB?
What happens if you try to play a file?

Yes USB. I have spent hours trying to figure out why my source file plays back magnificently, a DSD 64 fs file but no other files on my windows version of MC31 will play, If I get everything else to play I lose the one that plays.
I am a tad old and remember olden times. If we were to discuss My final days with a Nakamichi (surely spelled wrong) Dragon cassette player I'd at least have a chance of understanding but this problem is beyond me.
If I understand my computer with MC31 should be sending a signal to my DAC (
Benchmark DAC3) That is supposed to convert the file into audio and then send it to my
Prima Luna int amp.
All that works flawlessly until I get to a DSD file. Then everything stops. Up pops a notice telling me I have an error. I have perhaps a couple of dozen DSD files, almost all DSD 64 fs. If I can get one to work, why not the rest? And for that one file that works, why, if the next thing on my playlist is a 16/44 CD track does it refuse to play?
All that said, the one DSD file I have that does work sounds great.
