Headphones not connecting
« on: May 18, 2025, 01:39:27 pm »

I have just upgraded to MC34. since upgrading when I connect headphones (bluetooth or jack connected) the sound still comes from the laptop speakers. I have tried changing all sorts of Sound parameters in windows control panel to no avail. Windows sounds and output of media files using VLC media player all come through the headphones.
Any ideas anyone?...

Options > Audio Setup.  See the wiki for help.

Thanks JimH
Tried various drivers in Options/Audio setup eventually got there with the Realtek ASIO driver but playing about in windows sounds setting (Win 11) it looks like on my laptop (ASUS Vivobook, Harmon Kardon sound card) Windows is not detecting and changing to the headphones in the MC34 app setting. Changing it manually does the trick. A bit weird but I can put up with it as a solution
