Jim,

That would be great!

I'm looking at the $99 cradle and FM adapter for use in the car at

http://www.everythingipod.com/

Have you, or anyone, had any experience with this unit? Quality? Reliability? Ease of use, etc?

Thanks.

Cool, Jim! Reminds me of one of my future projects, to give the "metal suitcase pc" in my Chevy Suburban (which contains a 160 gig harddisk with most of my MP3 backups on) a WLan card, so I won't have to take it out of the car to do the backups, and it will let me connect NetRemote to that as well. I tried with the USB cable and ActiveSync, but that was unreliable...  8)

Not exactly a new idea. I was doing that 2 years ago when I had a Sony Viao mounted in my dashboard.

Sounds good, if i get one J River needs to Support it.

New Option:

Smart Send Lists

Where MJ\MC will at a selected time (after i go t bed)  sends a random List of files (no dups) to my Car Player using wi-fi.

OK, but the player will then be worth more than your Yugo.  (That's before the rebate we got from the owner who hired us to steal it.)

I beleave it.

But the Wi-Fi sounds like a good idea for me, and dump the CD's.

I have a PhatBox in my car.... awesome.  You should at least check out their software to see if there are features you want to add.  (you can d/l for free).

Have you guys heard of PhatBox and does MC support it?  If not, you may want to link up with these guys.
