MC 9.0.95 - Windows shell integration?
« on: January 11, 2003, 05:07:01 am »

Just want to find out if Windows shell integration is working for anybody else in the newest version of MC on Windows 2000 Pro (w/SP3).  Is it?

[Talking about the right-click MC options that show up when in Windows Explorer viewing folders & files.]

Thanks...

Update:
Specifically, is the Media Center sub-menu (with Play, Add to playing now and Import) showing up on the right-click menu?

I don't think it's working period. It's gone in XP also.

It works for me with XP SP1...  when I right-click, among the many others, there is a "play".  Selecting it loads MC and replaces the playing now with the file and starts playing.

Well, I see what you mean...  The play could be the standard windows "play", but it does launch MC, clear the playing now, and play the selected file.  So I'd guess it's not.

Funny, the "add to playlist" launches WMP.

The play is standard windwos right click.  the only reason it launches MC is because this is set as your default player.  normally it would load wmp.  no the menu is not present for me any more on XP SP1.  It was present but didn't work in the previous build, now it has simply gone away...
