Sorry, this should have been in the FAQ. I'll add it.

1 - Make sure your MJ version 8 is licensed correctly.
If you already have MC9 installed, do a restore with your MJ8 license. This will generate an error (since the license is not valid for MC9), but install the license.

2 - Install MC9.

3 - Start MC9.

4 - Click the purchase button.
Verify that the top of the page has the words Upgrade MJ8 to Media Center and the correct price ($7.98).

Complete the purchase process like normal.

I installed the MC9 beta 90089 and the registration code of MJ8 was captured automatically. The buttons "buy Media Center" and "install license" are not avaiable for this reason. How can I pay the upgrade fee of $7.98 then?
Can you help me?
PS.: Or my registration code for MJ8 is valid to MC9?
?

If you bought MJ 8 before Dec. 1st, then yes, your MJ 8 license is valid for MC9 (and everything has worked as it should, the sun will shine a little brighter, and the world will be a truly happy place 8) )
