Errors in MJ version 9
« on: November 26, 2002, 02:26:30 pm »

JimH asked me to repost this as a new topic so here it is.

My problem with this version is that every time I attempt to use the help menu I get an error and windows then closes MJ and wants to send an error report to M$. Doesn't tell me what the problem is but just tells me that a problem occured.

As an example I just tried to launch the system information but when I clicked on it I got the MJ has encountered a problem and needs to close message.

The below is from the Windows XP System Info utility;

Your machine and OS look good.

My first guess on this kind of problem is always the video driver.

Disabling skins might help if you could get into MJ.

What version of MJ do you have?

A new build, Media Center 9.0.84, is out tonight.
