When playing certain files, I get at playbackeng.dll error message and MJ 9.0.80 closes.
It appears to happen on several formats (MP3s, .avi and .mpeg) and the files are always playable in several other programs, usually always in Irfanview. The problem seems to occur after MJ has been up and running for at least 20 minutes -- but it won't go away after closing the program, or even a reboot, EVEN a cold boot. But if I leave it alone for a few hours and do something else, sometimes it will play the previously offending file and sometimes it won't. Go figure.
Is there a solution short of trying a beta? Is this a known issue?
Much as I admire you all, I don't wanna be a beta-tester here too! :-/ I want to chill out with my Media Jukebox! I bought and paid for the version 8 and downloaded the 9 Alpha before the Dec 1 deadline cause I think you have a great product and a development team that is tops.
