Well on Tuesday, we pulled the boat out of the water. This sounds easy, but you have to take the mast down, tie it up, remove some of the stuff on the boat, then attach a hook to a big eye-bolt down in the cabin and use the crane to pull the whole mess 15 feet out of the water in order to get the keel to pass over the back of the trailer. It's heart pounding stuff.
Then today, Matts' brother called. He got the day off or something and decided to come up to the Cities (we include St. Paul to be nice) to bother Matt. He called a couple times, tried to call collect because his cell phone battery was dead (Matt said, "no thanks") and when Matt left around 1:00, he said, "tell him I'm at home".
Then we spent a day fooling around with RealOne problems and another couple of days with John Gateley and Matt fooling around with something cool that maybe, possible, should let us identify tracks without CD's, and there you are -- it's Thursday night.
Tomorrow for sure. I think we have 8.0 nailed down now, so Nikolay and John Thompson will move over to 9.0. John has a new CD burning method pretty much done.
Steve has the ipod cracked and is just polishing it up.
Yaobing made a "giant leap" for JRiver about 10 days ago and has a DirectX filter that can write and read TV. This is the foundation of our promise of "TiVo-like" functionality. It's moving faster now.
And then there is SlimMp3. Bob's on it.
And, we have a secret weapon.
