Support for FLAC?
« on: August 12, 2003, 04:24:42 am »

A basic question, but my searches haven't uncovered the answer - does Media Jukebox support files compressed by FLAC, and will it show the Artist, album, track details etc?  Does it also look up and display the album artwork for such files?
Thanks in anticipation.

Change the "Max age since last post" to 120, 240, etc. Why it is set at such a low number (7) is beyond me.

Get out your dictionary and look up "sloth".  "Lethargy" is also a good read.

Ouch! I hope that wasn't directed at me! Sure puts me off paying up.... Anyhows, thanks to the earlier posters I adjusted the search settings and found some earlier posts (not as many as you might think). I guess the answer is "no".

JimH > "sloth".  "Lethargy"

Aren't those 2 of the 7 deadly sins?

Keiron...

I just found out today that JCoalsen is a member here. He is a FLAC developer who may be able to write a plugin (if he desires). Otherwise, we need to hammer on Jim and Matt to get native FLAC support going on MJ/MC.

So...
C'mon people now, smile on your brother, everybody get together, let us get FLAC support right now...right now...riiiight nowwwww!
