Hi--

Is there a way to print both the front and back cover of jewel case insert on the same page in landscape?

I used to be able to do this in Nero. It was great. You just cut it out and fold it in half. Save a tree and some effort.

If you pick one of the pre-printed label layouts (such as Avery 5931-8931) it will place both the front and back covers on one sheet of paper.

I am having trouble in this regard. I have plenty of CDs that I want to make CD inserts for, and I tend to use the slimline CD covers. What I like to do is print a label on one sheet of regular paper, two boxes adjacent to each other, like this (sorry if it doesn't come out on everybody's screen the right way):

On the left I like the track list, including the track times, and on the right I like the artist and album names. Then I simply print, cut, fold in half, and I have my cover. The outside shows the Artist and Album, and the inside shows the tracks with times.

I don't see a way to do this in the MC label editor. I have chosen all the different types of pre-printed labels and have not found one that matches what I want. Can this be done?  

As much as I dislike Roxio, I think they have their CD labeler down pat -- put the CD in the drive, load the sofware, and it looks at CDDB for the disc and puts the info right in. Maybe something like this could be done in the future (with YADB)?  I'm not expecting much, knowing how hard they're working on finishing up/stabilizing 9.1, but I think it would be a great addition.

Any ideas/comments/helpful insights?

I don't have access to MC at the moment but I know you can do it.  I found the option a couple of weeks ago.  Keep looking.

Thanks, I eventually found it.

Now, I'm almost there....

There is a border on the case that I can't seem to get rid of. I've gone into the full Labeler app and tried to delete it, but it doesn't go away. Consequently when I print it, i have a line across the front of my label.

The box that I am trying to get rid of is circled in red in this screenshot:

How can I get rid of that?

You have to click on Print (upper left of the Label Wizard). You will then see a "Go to Label Editor" button near the bottom. Click on it. You will now see the layout...click on the field and delete it.

Thanks for the reply.  I've tried that, and the frame doesn't go away. I click on it (it turns red when selected), and I click Delete on one of the menus (I forget which, I don't have access to MC right now). But it stays there. Even if I go to Print Preview, it's there. And, of course, when I print, it's still there.

Can anyone confirm this?  I will double check it again when I get home from work tonight.

I also tried selecting the frame and turning off the borders, but that turns off all of the borders, and I want the main outlines there for cutting.

Try the next build (greater than 9.1.307). You shouldn't see that dotted line on the left side of the front cover. You'll have to start fresh; opening a saved label file will still display the dotted line.

As mentioned in the build thread, thanks.

I really don't want to sound ungrateful, but there is one more thing I would like to request.

On the left, there are still other frames, I would guess they are for the "spine" of the slimline CD case. I would like to have the ability to delete these frames in the Label Editor. With build 308, I went to the label editor and tried to delete the frames, and they wouldn't leave.

I have created a mock-up of what I would ideally like. Notice at the left there are no extra frames at all, just the straight line. (the screenshot shows the wizard, but even if I could go into the full Label Editor and delete them to make it look like this, I'd be happy.)
