Missing ID3v2 album art after 9.1.279 upgrade
« on: October 18, 2003, 04:43:25 pm »

Not sure if it has been mentioned here yet, but has anyone had the same experience?

It seems many of my MP3s (10% maybe) no longer contain the album art that I had before installing build 279.

Thanks,

Is the Art Stored Inside The MP3?

If so it should have no effect.

if not make sure your default coverart path is set to the correct location

Yes, I keep album art and lyrics in most of my MP3s themselves, so I don't have to rely on the player database.

Unfortunately even though I put alot of work into populating my tags, I don't mark them read only in the file system, as I should have done.

Am I the only one that has this problem with missing album art after the upgrade? Do others set their files to read only as soon as they are updated to avoid this kind of thing?

Thanks,
