Not able to reinstall MJ 8
« on: December 20, 2002, 10:56:08 am »

???I have been using MJ8 and then MJ9.  It's been working fine.  Then I get the message it's out of date.  So I tried to reinstall it, but it won't install.  It just stops.  I redownloaded it and tried to install, same problem.  I keep all my downloads in a "Downloads8" folder.  They all work except MJ.

So you want to install v8? Then you need to uninstall whatever's on there now THEN reinstall. Install v9? Get latest MC9 (shouldn't need to uninstall). Are you registered? If not and your 30 days are up...then MJ will still not run.

Failed installs are sometimes an IE problem.  Go to IE/Tools/Internet Options/Temporary Internet files and do "delete files".  It could take several minutes.

You're welcome.  Glad it works.

Just for the record, that one is a Windows bug.  When the temporary internet file space gets filled up, Windows gets confused.
