ICYDK: The workaround is that these *.pls's and other streaming links can be stored in a playlist. I agree with your points, though.
But if that is the best solution, webmedia should not be part of mc. Because as it is now, both ui and how it works differs too much from the rest of mc to make a coherent whole media center. And as pocket mentions, it is not sufficiently updated.
Additions to Pockets list:
updated ui
right click functionality (is probably quite hard in the current setup)
it should be possible to arrange media after choosing them (moving them up or down the list)
featured stations should be removed (it's not a complete list, so it confuses more than it informs, and I want to be able to get to my stations first!)
