Jhuff,
Rather than adopting a stance of resitance and disbelief at your recent posts in another thread, I would like for you to list 3 applications, with features comparable to Media Center (latest build as of this post, .310), regardless of O/S platform, and explain to me
briefly how, overall, they are as good as or better than Media Center?
After doing that, I would like for you to
briefly explain why, when refering to the check for updates menu item, you spent
several evenings trying to use this tool to "check for updates"
, instead of simply bookmarking the Media Center 9 Forums in your browser favorites and taking 10 seconds (every, or every other, day) to check the forums page for the newest version of Media Center. I only ask this of you because it seems to me that you spent far more time on the aforetomentioned forum thread complaining about check for updates functionality (which worked as it should have worked, mind you) than you would have had you simply checked the first few threads in the forum (which you undoubtedly must have seen in order to start the initial topic in the first place) and seen the latest version available.
Unfortunately, and as a software developer myself I can repeatedly attest to this, there are certain people that companies simply do not want to have as customers, and you my friend, are indeed one of those people. With the attitude and malignance that you expressed, can you honestly expect to receive much of a response (even though you did)?
