Sometimes MC would show image in AW as a tiny scare picture.
You'll have to move the center verticale bar to get it back to normal size.
Seen it first on 10.0.12b...

Great speed on Hairstyle "alias bob, haircut, Showtime!, etc...  ;D "

MC stops responding if help->plus features is pressed.
Also, in 10.0.12, media center locked up when trying to change recorder / time shifting profile in the TV options.
Using MSI geforce fx 5900 ultra.

ConTrail this thread is for version 10.0.13, only report bugs for the same version posted at the top of the thread, in the correct thread.

On data CD's MC is not showing the date [year] information in mp3's even though the info exists in the  tag [ it was originally tagged with MC, including date year field].

Other tag apps confirm existence of date [year] in tag. Updating from tag [always] doesn't fix it.

The new 'Salon' view is very Americanized.

I thought I was going to switch to a view of a hairdresser's salon. ;D

MC is still crashing upon inserting/removing a CD.  This seems to tie to setting MC to rip securely; it's been there since 9.1.316

MC still does not properly parse dates in january i.e. 1-1-2000

MC stalling for ~20 seconds when right click > paste image from clipboard or url.

And it doesn't add the image to the tag.  True for ape files.

Total Mess
Up to the 10.0.11, all updates went fine.
But now:
Installed the 10.0.12 --> works in trial mode suddenly --> tried to restore license from internet and from the just downloaded license file --> error opening registry. You must have administrator privilege ... --> i allways have  administrator privilege on my system!!! --> Tried to install 10.0.13 --> Errors encountered while performing the operation. Look at the information window for more details. --> There was no Information Window!! --> Went back to the 10.0.11, this works.

This has happened in both 9.x and 10...

Pop in a CD, YADB doesn't find it. I use the dialog to enter all the track information (this inevitably happens with multi-artist CDs), hit submit. I get a "Failed to Connect" message and ALL the information I just entered is GONE.

The icon for 'All' is sitting on top of the DSP icon and the Video icon has disappeared off the left hand side of the screen.

Also, I've just paid the $12.98 to upgrade and has installed succcessfully but the email that arrived with the installation key etc, states that 'this is good for 2 weeks'....not quite sure what that means.

There are some instabilities in the tv advanced settings.. At random times trying to change the input options, mc will hardlock and only a reboot will fix it.. I have not run into similar problems in other programs, so i dont think my system or drivers is the problem...

Last time this happened, an error message with "Cannot run graph" appeared. This was while trying to start tv.

Also bought the upgrade, thanks for a great program!

Just upgraded, thanks for listening to your customers.

Anyway, back to the real world of beta testing. On my PC mc 10.0.13 always appears on top of all other applications. If I want to bring another application tothe foreground I have to manually minimise MC first. Even Alt-Tab doesn't bring other applications to the front of MC.

Edit: for some reason MC is working correctly now. All i have done since this post is install DXHost and use Hairstyle for the first time. Very weird

I like the function to switch to a special categoriy like "Audio" to hide unnecessary items. But on start MC is back to "All". I think it would be nice to have the current category saved between sessions. Or maybe to have an option, which allows to start allway in a special category.

I don't know if this is a bug, but when the Media Scheduler is recording an audio feed and you minimize the recording window in 10.0.13, it completely minimizes Media Center.  But, when you go down to the taskbar and right-click, it does not give you the ability to maximize or restore the application.  The only way I've found is to go into the Task Manager and force it to maximize from there.

  • Search bar does not support transparency of PNG
  • If MC is trying to load an old skin (MJMS version="1.0"), it does not directly revert to default skin. It loads some elements of the old skin, shows black rectangles for the rest and then locks up. In some cases it then reverts to default skin after about a minute, in some cases it has to be terminated with the task manager.
