Season greetings to all
« on: December 20, 2003, 03:40:04 am »

But first of all to all the JRiver gang.

I'am one of the very few  on Interact living in a place where there is not such things as Xmass and new year--ToMy00 must be one of them-

Now ,i do not miss it anymore.
But the first years here ,i missed the special feeling of such a time.

The streets and shops with all the lights.
This general feeling of easy going
The fact that ,even the worst bastard did his best to try to be cool.

So ,enjoy as much as you can and all my best whishes for the next year.

JimH wants to open a new forum ,he told me :

'Hangover when using MC' ;D

As a temporary folder of cause.

And the same (or similar) to you.  It's a nice feeling in many ways, I must agree, even if you don't share the religious basis.

It's a dark time of year here, with the sun going down at 4:00 in the afternoon and coming up around 8:00.  Worse other places, I know, but still it's dark going to work and dark coming home.  I miss the long summer days.  That's part of why we put out so many lights this time of year.

So next week, I'm going back to the Florida Keys to look for the sun and to get a little salt spray in my face.  I'm going to visit the Everglades National Park and see if I can find some alligators.

I wish you well, Zevele, and I wish all our friends (and others) here the very best for the coming weeks and for the New Year.

Have a nice trip.

Here ,also night at around 4
But much early in the morning ,around 6.

There is one thing i HATE here:
Even in June ,we do not get light latter than 8:00 evening.
As you know ,it is so pleasant to hang around in Paris during the long summer evenings.

Enjoy Florida Keys.It is the right time to do so.
Not so nice in full summer with all the humidity in the air.

I knew somebody would be first with the 'Seasons Greetings' thread, but I was expecting it a bit later than now. Currently it just reminds me that I have ever-decreasing time and ever-increasing panic before I find a suitable present for my wife.

But this is the time to say thanks. I bet the Dec 2002 build of MC was a milion miles behind what we have now. So thanks for all your work to JRiver, and thanks for all the fun Ive had with it in 2003. And seasons greetings to all board members and their families wherever they are.

David

PS Jim - My as-yet secret plan is a Florida road trip for vacation 2004. So I wanna see photos...
