The first time I start up MC (after turning on the computer), I get the following message after the little splash screen comes up:
"Media Jukebox.exe - Application Error": The instruction at "0x77f580db" referenced memory at "0x175d0000". The memory could not be "written".
If I try to start it up again, it doesn't give me an error message. It just shows a little arrow-hourglass and doesn't start up.
This all started when I was playing around with my swap memory settings trying to get Medieval: Total War working (a completely different issue, of course). The most recent setting was "Custom: Inital Size - 766MB, Max Size - 1200MB". I can only assume that that has something to do with it, although who knows? None of obvious settings fix MC anyway.
As I can't get MC started, I don't have access to the little sys-info thing. The following (from a month-old post) should be nearly accurate (note that I am using v9.1.316 now though):

Help would be greatly appreciated. It's Christmastime, and I've got CDs to rip!
Thanks!
