Had to reformat, now what?
« on: January 05, 2004, 04:28:09 pm »

I had to reformat my HD (Win98SE), and lost my Media Jukebox 8.  So I downloaded the latest version it doesn't work.  Either I get lots of question marks, or I get this message:

"Make sure that your system has a valid sound playback device and that it is properly configured in Media Jukebox's playback options (output mode, output device, and output bit depth).

Details:  "Media Jukebox caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff7b9a6."

Help!   :-[

Please download again, without using a download manager program.

If you have used other versions, there may be a data compatibility problem.

Please report the full version you're using.

Well...do you? (have a valid sound playback device). Make sure that you've run Windows Update and that everything that can be updated has been updated. In the meantime uninstall MJ until the system is all up to snuff...then reinstall.
