It's not like I'm trying to be difficult. The policy changes over the last week have thoroughly confused a lot of people. Your statement above says,
"For at least three months after release, MJ 9 will work with an 8.0 license bought before December 1." That does not say what will happen after the 3 months are up, and, in fact, the words "will work" imply that after 3 months, the free-upgrade license will stop working. The question still hasn't been answered.
But, yes, thank you. I think your free upgrade policies are good for customers, and good for JRiver. I do sympathize with the poster who questioned jumping right from an 8.0 release to 9.0 (never an 8.1). In other words, some may say that MJ9 should've been 8.1. I realize that the new TV and DVD directions superseded that, and I think the extra functionality justifies a new primary release. So thank you.
But I'm really angry that you never answered my other question:
Are you planning to sit with the Vikings to watch the playoffs? Scronch
