Did you find any resolution on this problem?
I had MC 9.1.316 running on a Win2000 machine and streaming the libraried to my TIVO via HMO. I recently got a new XP machine and moved my library over successfully. MC seems the same and works fine. TIVO cannot find the Media Server at all, but TIVO can see and play MP3s when I publish via the TIVO Desktop. I have tried everything that I could find in all the discussion areas, but nothing makes a difference. I have checked the ports on the XP machine and nothing other than Media Server is running on 80 and the TIVO Beacon is on 2190.
This is what the Media Server shows on startup:
01/31/04 16:04:18 - Initializing server.
01/31/04 16:04:18 - Server initialized
01/31/04 16:04:18 - sharer ready to accept connections
01/31/04 16:04:18 - Started auto response thread on port 5556.
01/31/04 16:04:18 - TiVo HTTP ready for connections
And this is my system info:
