Media Server and Mac iTunes?
« on: January 13, 2004, 03:58:43 pm »

In my office, I bring my personal notebook computer with my entire MP3 collection and MC9.2 for e-mail, web, PowerPoint and other Windows stuff, for my graphic designing, I use my dual-1.8 GHz G5 Mac. I have a nice set of speakers at my desk, but I prefer them to be plugged into my Mac rather than my notebook computer.

I like listening to my music while I work, but I have to either switch the speakers back and forth, or copy the MP3s over to my Mac or share the folder over the network.

Is there a way to use Media Server with iTunes or some other play on my Mac?

If you run iTunes on your laptop, and allow it to share your library, then iTunes on your desktop should be able to see the library on your laptop.
