40.00 later and it doesn't work...

I used MC in trial a while back evaluating it for a new digital audio server I've designed.  I liked it enough (though my emails for support were ignored) to pay up.

Now, it simply shows the logo and then exits with no message about 30 seconds later.

MC indicates serial was installed.  OS is XP Pro.

Not sure what the problem is... though you should post the version number that you bought here.

Also, I don't think J River does support by email, just the forum... which in my opinion works better... since there's more people to answer your questions :)

Sounds like a file was changed / corrupted.  A reinstall will probably fix it.

Newer MC 10s (now in beta) would give more details.

Well, I was able to keep it open just long enough to get to the "About" screen.  It just says 9.1 without and further numbers.

The other email was sent to corporate or sales inquiring about distribution rights and skins.  Can't remember where I sent it but never heard a peep.

Of course, my enthusiasm is waneing a bit at the moment...

Try downloading again.  Don't use a download manager -- some can cause problems.

It would be nice if you would assume that it will work instead of assuming you're getting a raw deal.  Problems can almost always be solved.

Well, you were right.  I guess I deal with so many issues I sometimes don't do the obvious.  I am under a tight deadline at the moment and just dealing with OS and hardware issues has taken months.  

Any suggestings for contacting the sales or business folks about distribution and skins?

I suppose skins could be addressed here.  I am going to need a customize skin.  I like megame just fine, but need to get a logo in there and perhaps change the colors.
