Focus problem -- always on top
« on: February 12, 2004, 09:09:45 pm »

Looks like this version has the "can't pop any windows over the top of the Media Ceter window" problem again.

Regardless of whether the MC window is in maximised or windowed mode, I can't get any other apps to pop in front of MC.

I get this bug on and off all the time - it's completely random. This build is working fine for me so far.

I remember this being the issue the last time this happened to me...

I didn't appear to have any 3rd party plugins installed from the plugin manager of MC, BUT I did find the XML Export plugin was still installed from Control Panel / Add-Remove.

Why is it that having 3rd party plugins installed causes this behaviour?

Is the conflict caused by the plugins or MC?

Is it all plugins, or just some?

Duh! Thanks Jim

Just downloaded and installed the latest MC XML Export, and now everythings fine. Is the issue with having the plugins there when installing MC?
