Ripping and Making Playlists
« on: February 18, 2004, 02:39:10 pm »

I have installed the software but now when I try to rip a new CD it does not get recognized by my media library, even though it is on my hard drive with all my other previously downloaded CDs. I also have a few discs that were already downloaded but do not get recognized by my media library. How can I get it to recognize all of my CDs?

With playlists, I make one but it never saves them. How do I get it so that all my playlists are saved for good?

Hmmm,

Try this,

Tools
Options
General
Automatically Import Files...

That should work for newly ripped cd's/

It didn't work. Half the time I put the disc in and the rip option does not come up and it won't let me do it manually. I am having multiple problems here with this, although it does solve my Tivo issues. Would removing it and reinstalling it be a good idea?

Do you have any virtual drives installed?

Goto Help, System Info and paste the results here.

The only other think I can think of is to uninstall, and reinstall 10.0.72

Use IE6 and no download manager to get the program...

Use IE6 and no download manager to get the program. Can you point me in the right direction?

Well certain Internet programs for some reason do not download the program propperly... So to avoid that problem make sure you are using Internet Explorer 6.xx as your internet browser and do not use download managers such as GoZilla.

I reinstalled the latest version and most of everytihng seems to be working. The only real question I have is if there is any trick to getting a playlist to stay. I make them and then when I come back later the playlist is no longer there. How do I save it? Thanks
