Once you've inserted a CD and MC has looked it up in YADB, is there any way to make it forget that it has, and instead read the info from cdplayer.ini?
Things I've tried:
* In Media Library | Advanced | CD & DVD, I found the CD tracks and deleted them. I disabled online CD lookup in Preferences. No go -- I insert the CD, it doesn't look up in YADB, but just displays the same old tracks it looked up the first time.
* I disconnected my network and told MC to "Update from CD Database". I've noticed in the past that this command will read from cdplayer.ini if it can't find the disc in YADB. However, this time, after the YADB connection attempt timed out, it simply displayed the tracks as it used to know them, without popping up the dialog asking if I wanted to read the "local database" (or however it words that).
Why would I care? Well, sometimes YADB is so wrong, it would be a lot easier to fix the problem with a good text editor in cdplayer.ini than to use MC's tag editing dialog. I have one CD where the error is that YADB missed the first track, so that tracks 1 thru 13 show what is actually on 2 thru 14, and track 14 is missing.
(Yes, in all the time it took me to attempt these workarounds, I could have just edited the tracks in MC.
But I'd like to know for next time.)
